My music tastes are very eclectic, so basically anything but , hip-hop, and country (with occasional exceptions). Rock, Alternative, Pop, Electronica, Swing, Instrumental, Classical (I played the violin for years), etc. I tend to be crafty when I have free time: crocheting, writing, plotting evil to take over the world. I am student of psychology so anything having to do with how people think and behave will likely fascinate me. My interest in BDSM is what inspired my choice of study. Pleasure, pain, submission, domination, ownership, and the ultimate commitment of slavery. Right now I am studying for my Masters and that takes first priority. If you want 24/7 then I am not the person for you. You need to be able to maintain your own life and follow through with instructions independently. There will be times when I am not able to answer right away for one reason or another.
And I certainly won't say that I do not like receiving gifts; they make me feel giddy and appreciated. Three of my favorite things: cooking supplies, technological gadgets, and new things to torture people with. Of course chocolates and flowers will not go amiss either.

My Ideal Person:
Personality is all that I look for as far as qualifications. Race, gender, sexuality, etc. don't matter to me. I am seeking people who will be devoted to me; please note that devotion does not equal mindlessness or weakness. The ability to be independent is a necessity as I will not be able to monitor you every hour to be sure you have done as I asked. When you complete T'n'Ps properly you will know that I am pleased. I will ask things of you to build the sort of trusting relationship that will make us both happy. I want to know everything about you. Your hopes, dreams, desires, fears, nightmares. You want to know how to make me happy according to my instructions. And then in ways I've never even thought of.
Honesty is the best policy. In fact it is an absolute must. Lying to me will result in your being promptly ignored. Little disgusts me more than a liar. Respect comes in many forms: following through on tasks, answering my questions thoroughly, and showing initiative to please me, for example. If I cannot trust you to follow instructions on your own then I don't want to waste my time or yours.
Intelligence is a huge turn on. I do love to learn about new people, places, and things. Tell me about something interesting that I may not know or ask me about myself. Polite speech is an absolute must. This includes spelling and grammar. If you want me to take notice of you then this is a basic display of respect. Creativity is also greatly appreciated and counts for a lot more than groveling.
